About the Business Advisory Council

The Council is focused on making a positive impact on Kiwis’ wellbeing. It will do this by focusing on macro-level economic strategy and providing active leadership on the Government’s economic agenda. The Council is interested in advising on areas and initiatives that:

  1. Focus on the systems level
  2. Will help grow the economy and lift productivity and living standards
  3. Are core to the country’s long-term prosperity and social, environmental and economic sustainability
  4. Provide real, common ground between business and government
